Curtin Connect: Technology and design improving the student experience

Jan 20, 2017

Curtin Connect construction has begun and Buildings 101 and 102 are on their way to becoming a welcoming and friendly new student services and support ‘one-stop-shop’. Here’s a brief update on the progress and how technology and design are coming together to improve the student experience.

Building 101 and 102

We’re looking forward to a fresh design that will improve the customer service experience for students and staff. The buildings will feature audio visual technology in a range of spaces including a 165” LED screen in Building 102 and flat panel displays in Building 101 meeting rooms to support web conferencing and presentations.

The remodel of Building 101 will accommodate comfortable and stylish casual meeting places, private consultation spaces and personalised spaces for staff. The building will also feature a project room for open collaboration.

The temporary Student Centre is up and running in Building 101 and way finding signage is displayed around campus to assist staff and students. The temporary space accommodates Curtin International, Future Students and Student Services.
