Construction Work In McKay Street

Construction work in McKay Street in the vicinity of the McKay Street Primary school will commence on 21 September 2006.

The work involves the relocation of Water Supply, Sewer and Electrical services in preparation for a new Western Power Sub Station building to be constructed east of the McKay Street Primary School. New services will also be connected to the McKay Street Primary School.

The work should not impact upon Curtin Staff except access to McKay Street Primary School from McKay Street will be closed from 21 September until completion of the work which is scheduled for 1 November 2006. Persons using that access for parking in this area will need to use alternative parking areas during the construction period.
