Exchange is the first precinct to be delivered at Curtin University’s Perth Campus in response to the Greater Curtin Master Plan.

Construction has begun on the development, which will form a dynamic extension of the campus’ academic core, neighbouring Curtin Medical School and Wesfarmers Court. It will also connect Curtin’s sport and recreation hub, which is already home to Curtin Stadium, Hockey WA and Hockey Australia.

It was recently announced that the precinct’s development will be in partnership with a private sector consortium, led by InfraRed Capital Partners. Further partners in the project include Probuild, St Catherine’s College, UniLodge Australia, Programmed Facility Management and Waldorf Australia Group.

The partnership will design, finance, construct and operate a major portion of the precinct, including approximately 1,000 new student accommodation beds, a boutique hotel, apartments, commercial space for industry partners and speciality retail shops.

A new facility for the School of Design and the Built Environment, constructed by Lendlease, will also form part of Exchange.

Exchange is designed to bring education, industry and community together – encouraging and facilitating the sharing of knowledge, ideas and creativity and serving as a catalyst for innovation and progress.

The first stage is set to officially open in January 2022. For more information about Exchange, visit our website, and follow us on social media for updates throughout the project.
