Design & Art Precinct given a ‘Relife’

Feb, 2020

New life has been injected into Curtin’s Design & Art Precinct. Late last year the Precinct ‘Relife’ was completed with upgrades to Buildings 202, 203 and 212 and the creation of new spaces critical to the study of design and art over the next 10 years.

Two new buildings between B202 and B212 now house general learning spaces, a project research space and prototyping courtyard. A distributed learning space has been constructed for practical demonstrations in technical processes including painting, drawing, sculpture, typography and fashion. Digital modelling facilities, new design computer labs, modernised equipment and upgraded display spaces have also been introduced to enhance workflow and functionality.

The ‘Relife’ project is an exciting addition to the southern precinct that integrates Art and Design into the Creative Quarter public realm and celebrates the contribution of the Arts to Curtin University. For more information about the ‘Relife’ visit the Project Page.
