Curtin is working towards implementing a new Pay By Phone system of parking. This will mean you will only pay for the time you are parked on campus.

PBP has transformed student parking at universities across Australia. Now Curtin joins the parking revolution!
Why are the changes being implemented?
The current permit system is inequitable, and doesn't provide the flexibility students need. Permit holders become frustrated that carparks are full by 9am, and part-time students are paying more than their fair share towards parking costs.
After significant consultation and independent advice, Curtin has come up with a system we believe will be fairer to all students, and ensure there is parking available throughout the day for students who need it.
How will it work?
No parking meters, no tickets, no need for cash. The new parking system is so easy to use.
Simply follow the steps:
- Register your car/s online.
- Park - choose from
- All day parking ($2.50 for students and $3.50 for staff) *
- Timed parking (80c per hour to a maximum of 4 hours) - Register the start of your parking session via your mobile phone **
- Go to class
- Head back to your car
- If using timed parking, register the end of your parking session via your mobile phone

* staff will still have the option of purchasing a permit in 2012.
** students and staff without mobile phones will be able to use other methods
