The latest in parking updates
Curtin’s Bentley campus is constantly evolving as we continue to develop and refresh our facilities, amenities and spaces for students, staff and visitors.
Projects, such as the B316 Sciences Building will at times affect campus parking and access. FAQs, regular updates and information regarding significant changes will be provided here.
While campus improvements inevitably mean some disruption, they are essential in shaping a more vibrant and sustainable campus. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue this work.

More information about public transport options, bikes and scooters and our free Curtin Access Bus Service (CABS) is available here.
The Curtin Access Bus Service (CABS) is a free initiative helping connect Curtin (including Tech Park) with the local community.
Free buses run from 7:00am to 8:30pm each weekday during semester, servicing Bentley and nearby suburb including Waterford, Victoria Park and South Perth.
CABS is available for staff, students and the public. Buses may be hailed anywhere along the route for your convenience.

Since 17 June 2024, 520 car parking spaces have closed on the south-eastern end of Curtin Bentley to accommodate construction of B316.
A number of new bays (to be advised) will be installed in the surrounding area once the project is complete and some parking areas may reopen.
Temporary Parking areas are available at the northern end of campus to provide more parking options during Semester 1, 2025.
We will keep the community updated as the project progresses.
Staff and students should plan ahead as much as possible, as walking to your office or classroom from available parking bays may take longer than you are accustomed to.
All ACROD bays that were closed due to construction works have been relocated across the campus.
We have worked with the Diversity and Inclusion team to check these new locations meet the needs of ACROD users.

Delivery and service vehicle access may be affected by traffic management or road closures as major projects progress.
A portion of Brand Drive is currently closed to accommodate construction of B316 Sciences Building.

We ask that staff and students to try to plan ahead as much as possible.
Our Safer Community Team has a 24/7 security escort service that can accompany you from your location/building on campus right to your car. Contact the team on 9266 4444 or via the SafeZone app.
Please plan your request as depending on the number and type of their callouts, they may take some time to get to you. The wait is typically 10-15 minutes.
We understand that parking changes are likely to be disruptive and inconvenient for some. We want to assure you that these decisions are not made lightly.
Curtin is growing, and with growth comes the need to rethink and reallocate our space and investment to benefit everyone and meet our strategic and sustainability goals.
Curtin already provides more than 6,000 parking bays at our Bentley campus.
Like any developing urban area, as the University grows, we are likely to face further parking constraints. This is part of our journey towards a more sustainable future and our commitment to maintain our green spaces.
B316’s basement area will house specialised equipment that is sensitive to vibrations caused by vehicles.
