that the Curtin Geodesic Dome is one of the most iconic landmarks on campus?

Designed by Harler Dunne Group Architects in the 1970s, this striking structure is made from aluminium tessellated panels with a unique exoskeleton. It’s also a rare find – one of only two remaining in WA built in a nearly identical fashion.

More than meets the eye…

The Dome isn’t just about its impressive design. It sits at a meaningful location, close to where the ‘Kujal Kela’ (Twin Dolphin) and ‘Djiridji’ (Zamia) Songlines intersect.
