Who We Are

The Greater Curtin Master Plan

Curtin has embarked on a transformation agenda, which includes the development of the Perth campus into a collaborative innovation precinct that cultivates a vibrant social, professional and commercial urban community. This vision is articulated in the Greater Curtin Master Plan.

The Master Plan embraces all of the things that make great cities around the world – a diverse population, various accommodation options, ease of transit, a 365-day sustainable economy, art and culture, abundant green spaces and retail, dining and recreation options – mixed with research, learning and aligned industry partners.

In achieving this vision, the strategic objectives are to:

  • Enhance the student experience and the University’s research and innovation capability
  • Attract business and industry partners to campus to further integrate research and learning
  • Position Curtin and Perth as a core component of a robust innovation ecosystem

Exchange Precinct

Exchange is the first precinct to be delivered at Curtin University’s Perth Campus in response to the Greater Curtin Master Plan. Find out more about this exciting development.

Master Plan Documents

Our Master Plan is more than a collection of buildings - it's the creation of a better quality of life through urban renewal, clever and sustainable design, high-quality public spaces and social outcomes that will benefit Western Australians. It supports the WA Planning Commission's Directions 2031 strategy to revitalise the region as a specialist activity centre.
