There are some general pieces of information you should know when parking at Curtin.
Parking your car on campus
Vehicles must be parked in a designated bay as entitled by their permit or PAYG session. You are not permitted to park on verges, grassed areas, roads, pathways or any other non-designated parking areas at any time, unless you are directed to do so by an authorised officer.
The University is not responsible for vehicles or their contents while on campus. The University will not be liable for the theft of, or loss or damage to, any vehicles or their contents.
Shared parking with other Universities
Curtin no longer recognises other University parking permits.
After hours parking
To help make Curtin a safe place to park, the Parking and Traffic Office encourages students and staff to park in BLUE zones (for FREE) before 8:00am or after 4:30pm on weekdays and at any time during the weekends (excluding ACROD and courtesy bays, unless the appropriate permit is displayed).
Vehicles must still park in a designated bay at all times.
We want you to not only be safe at all times, but feel safe at all times. With this in mind, you can ask for security personnel to escort you to your car 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call our security team on any phone (including pay phones on campus) on +61 8 9266 4444.
There may be a delay of 10 to 15 minutes before a security patrol officer is available, but they will safely take you to your car once available.
Parking is not permitted in reserved bays at any time without the appropriate permit. Parking is permitted free of charge and without a permit in green, yellow, orange, blue and white zones between 4:30pm and 8:00am Monday to Friday and on weekends.
When you bring your vehicle onto campus you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions set out by the University’s By-Laws. You can download the University Land and Traffic by-laws here.
