Who We Are

Our university has a vision to make the Perth campus a greater place for all. Within the Curtin organisation, our Properties, Facilities and Development department is responsible for the planning and management that provides a vibrant and beneficial environment for study, work and leisure. We look after the programs and facilities that Curtin has in place and ones that are planned for the future.

Curtin Master Plan

We have a vision to make Curtin greater.

Sustainability at Curtin

In 2015 Curtin University was awarded Australia's first 5-star Green Star-Communities rating from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) for its master plan, which will see the Perth campus developed into a 'City of Innovation'.

The 5 Star rating which equates to 'Australian Excellence' was earned after the University Master plan was assessed against benchmarks for governance and innovation, design excellence, environmental sustainability, economic prosperity and liveability. Curtin is the only educational institution to hold such an accolade.

Green Star-Communities unifies our sustainability initiatives, clarifies our approach and sets shared goals across the organisation whilst providing independent verification that our vision will deliver on environmental, social and economic sustainability.
